Today is a very special day for Deen as his oldest son Kyle is getting married! We wish Kyle and Kyra a very long, happy and prosperous life together! Deen is so proud of his son and the man he has become! On this special day I thought it was appropriate to share this photo from a few weeks ago when Kyle shared the stage with Journey and the special moment with his Dad after Kyle finished drumming Seperate Ways. Congratualtions Kyle and Kyra from all of us!

The time has come! Journey's 2012 tour kicks off this Saturday July 21 in San Bernardino. Journey will be out on the road with LoverBoy and Pat Benetar. Deen and Journey kicked off the second leg of their US tour to a sold out show in New Orleans last evening. The audience was treated to a few songs that many have not ever heard live, When You Love and Woman and La Do Da. Deen and the band are in high gear and will continue criss-crossing the United States through late October. Make sure you catch a show in a town near you! Deen has asked me to post another update. As you know the North American Leg of the 2011 Eclipse tour in underway. Journey played to a crowd of 28,000 in Oshkosh, WI at Ford Festival Park and has already played shows in Omaha and Salt Lake City. Tonight, they'll be playing in Irvine, CA. Please check out the tour dates and catch Journey and Deen as they criss cross the USA this summer! You all may be wondering what the band members do on their days off in between shows. In Deen's case he has been giving interviews, working on his drum kit for 2012 and ....well you can see below. Deen's got a cool new tatoo! Deen sends his best to all his fans and says he'll see you on the road!

Deen sent along a few more pictures from the tour. The first is a view of the Mercedez-Benz Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany and the other two are from his room overlooking Lugano Switzerland. 10 more dates in Europe and then Journey will be rockin the states with a tour that begins in July and wraps up in October in the Pacific Northwest! Make sure you check to see if Deen and Journey are playing in a city near you!

Deen checked in from Hannover Germany where Journey will be performing on June 17th . Journey's tour then takes them to Stuttgart and then on to Switzerland as they continue their Eclipse Tour! The photo is the view Deen had from his room. And I quote,"If I'm not mistaken Hannover is the home of one of the greatest metal bands of all time THE SCORPIONS!!! Better ask Eddie Trunk from That Metal Show For Confirmation on this! He's a metal Genius!"

Tour update! 6/9/11

Deen asked me to post these photos from Scotland. This is the view he had from the hotel room! Journey had another great show tonight and are moving on for a couple of dates in Ireland! The tour seems to be going quickly with 5 shows already under their belts! More from Deen soon!

Deen to appear in a new book! 6/6/2011

Deen will be appearing in a new book A Drummer's Perspective. A Drummer’s Perspective features over 200 photographs celebrating the world of drumming. Author David Phillips, has been given rare access on stage and behind the scenes to many of the biggest bands in the world.

European Tour Kick Off! 6/4/2011

Journey played to a sold out arena at Wembley. The crowd was treated to 4 songs off the new Eclipse CD. Deen also took lead vocals on Mother, Father! We're looking forwrd to being able to share photos from our friend and awesome photographer, Marty Moffatt soon. Keep checking back for updates!

European Tour Update from Deen 6/1/2011

Deen has asked me to post some photos for all the fans out there of some of the sights the band have experienced while doing production preparation for their upcoming European tour! It sure is a beautiful place and the guys are ready to rock-n-roll when they kick off their tour on Saturday at Wembley arena! Enjoy the photos but please do not copy them for your personal use. Deen Joins Local Super Group JFK: 3/13/2011

!Deen has recently joined forces with local Supergroup JFK while he is home and off the road touring with Journey. JFK is a hometown collection of seasoned musicians who perform an over the top night of Classic FM Big Rock with hits by such bands as Van Halen, Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, T Rex and a big catalog of Journey classics as well featuring Deen on lead vocals from behind the drums. JFK members include Kelly Lemieux (Gold Finger/Electric Love Hogs/Fear) on Bass and Vocals, Bill Hallahan Vocals Guitar and Joel F Kinney on Lead Guitar and Vocals. The band will perform with Deen until he leaves for Tour with Journey and will return to the local scene when the Journey tour winds down in the fall.

MORE TOUR DATES ARE NOW POSTED: 2/1/2011

More 2011 tour dates have been posted for Deen and Journey. The tour will begin with some kick off dates in Las Vegas and Reno. Journey then heads off for stops in South America, Mexico and Puerto Rico. The European leg of the tour begins in June and winds up in early July playing at the Peace and Love Festival in Sweden. Journey has added two dates to their 2011 European tour with Styx and Foreigner. The band will be performing as follows:

Journey to tour the UK with Styx and Foreigner: 11/9/2010

Deen and Journey will be touring the UK in June of 2011 with Styx and Foreigner. This will be the first time where all 3 bands appear together in the UK. Tickets went on sale today via a Pre-Sale and were going fast and furious! This looks to be one fo the biggesat events in the UK for 2011! Deen Castronovo Update: 11/7/2010

Deen will be the special guest TONIGHT 11/7/2010 at 9:00 p.m. on 101 KUFO. The name of the radio show is the Viva La Luna Show and is hosted by Jeff Allen. Jeff will be playing music from Deen's entire career and chatting with him from 9:00 to 10:00 Pacific Time. Please tune in!

Update from Deen 8/28/2010

Deen called to give us an update on what he's been up to since Journey is taking the year off from touring. Deen's been spending a lot of time with family, particularly his two sons. This Sunday he leaves for California to begin recording with Journey guitarist Neal Schon on a new cd that will also include Marco Mendozza. Looks like we're going to be hearing a lot from Deen with the new Journey cd, his work with Neal and one other gig that should be very cool if everything comes together. Check back often for updates!
